INFLATABLE AND SOFT PLAY FAQS

Please see some of our frequently asked questions below.

WHAT TIME DO YOU DELIVER AND COLLECT?

We are flexible with times depending on your requirements, however all inflatables will be collected by 6PM at the latest unless you book overnight hire

ARE YOUR INFLATABLES AND SOFT PLAY SUITABLE FOR INDOOR AND OUTDOOR USE?

Yes our inflatables can be used outdoor, weather dependant, on grass only (AstroTurf is not suitable) and indoor in a hall.

CAN WE USE THE INFLATABLE IN THE RAIN?

Please do not use the inflatable in the rain. If it starts to rain, get everyone off the inflatable and disconnect the power and put the cover provided over the blower and extension lead. If the rain passes, then dry the inflatable with a towel and re-inflate.

WHAT HAPPENS IF THE WIND FORECAST IS HIGH?

If on the day of your hire the wind is above 24mph then by law, we will not be able to offer the inflatable. We would be happy to offer you a full refund or you can change to another date.

DO WE NEED TO DO ANYTHING BEFORE YOU ARRIVE?

Please just ensure that the access is obstacle free and that the area where the inflatable and/or soft play is going is clear. We will need to access the mains electricity. Please note that we required side access to the outside space and will not bring through the home. We reserve the right to cancel if not satisfied with the area.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO SET UP?

Set up is relatively quick and will take about half an hour

WHAT RECOGNISED ORGANISATION ARE YOU A MEMBER OF?

Gigglekids & Co are members of the British Inflatable hirers alliance (BIHA)

ARE YOUR INFLATABLES SAFE TO USE?

Yes, our inflatables are manufactured to BS: En14960 with an annual PIPA Inspection

WHAT AGES CAN YOU CATER FOR?

We currently only have children’s inflatables. Our jungle play park is for under 5’s and our castles are for under 12’s. Our soft play is also suitable for under 5’s.

IS HIRE AVAILABLE ALL YEAR ROUND?

Our inflatables can be hired all year round but only indoors. Outdoor hire is available from March to September (weather dependant)

DO YOU OFFER OVERNIGHT HIRE?

Yes, we offer overnight hire at an extra charge.  The equipment will be collected by 10am the following day unless hired for 2 days of which overnight is included.

CAN THE BLOWER BE TURNED OFF WHEN NOT IN USE AND HOW MUCH DOES IT COST IN ELECTRIC TO RUN THE BLOWER?

Once you have ensured everyone is off the inflatable you can disconnect the power and the inflatable will deflate. The cost for running the inflatable blower is next to nothing, roughly £1-£2 for the day.

DOES GIGGLEKIDS & CO HAVE INSURANCE?

Yes, Gigglekids & Co are have public liability insurance for up to £5 million. A copy of our insurance is available on request.

WHAT IS YOUR POLICY FOR DAMAGED PRODUCTS?

The person/organisation hiring the equipment will be responsible for any damage occurred as a result of accidental or misuse while on hire. Any damage or theft caused to the equipment by improper use or lack of care or while on hire must be paid for at full retail replacement costs. If the inflatable is left in a dirty condition including face paint, food, glitter etc, you will be charged £30 per inflatable/item, upon collecting for cleaning.

HOW DO WE PAY AND DO WE PAY A DEPOSIT?

A £10 deposit is required to secure your booking. The remaining balance is due 7 days prior to hire. Payment is by bank transfer.

WHAT AREAS DO YOU COVER AND IS THERE A DELIVERY CHARGE?

We cover the following areas within the hire price: Bognor Regis, Pagham, Aldwick. Felpham, Middleton, Littlehampton, Arundel, Yapton, Barnham, Chichester, Hunston, Selsey, Fishbourne and Bosham. We will look to hire outside of these areas but will charge a delivery fee. Please contact us to discuss.

WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?

All deposits for bookings will not be refunded if you cancel. The deposit will be lost for us holding your product from someone else booking it on the date you requested along with our admin fee and having to re hire/loss of hire. 
If you cancel with less than 48 hours’ notice of the hire, then 100% of your full payment will be kept.
On our arrival if we have to cancel your booking for any genuine reason, (i.e if garden/hall is not big enough, includes castle not fitting, you double booked, changed your mind, unfit garden, not as described on booking form, forgot to cancel etc), 100% of your full payment will be kept for loss of hire, loss of travel time, admin and delivery costs.
Rain 'On The Morning Only' Cancellation: If raining, you can phone to cancel your booking on the morning, before your equipment arrives. You will not be charged for the hire and will receive a refund (excluding £10 deposit). Note; it has to be raining and not just expected as we all know the weather can change from day to day prior.
Full Payments: When you have pre-paid in full and need to cancel before 48 hours of your hire. We will be happy to transfer your payment to a future date or give you a refund after deducting a 20% cancellation fee.
